This summary is here to orient you — the numbered sections below are the policy.
1Who we are
Think Big Apple LLC (“Think Big Apple”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida limited liability company. We sell done-for-you social media marketing, SEO, and website design and hosting to businesses across the United States. We have been in business since 2005 and we work online only — there’s no walk-in location.
This policy explains what we collect through thinkbigapple.com and while we do the work you hire us for, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. Reach us at support@thinkbigapple.com, or call or text (888) 505-7447.
2What we collect
What you type into a form
Our contact form and our checkout ask for your business name, your contact name, your email address, your phone number, your website or social handle, which platforms you want us to work on, and any notes you want to add.
Payment information
Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). Card numbers go to the processor, never to us — we don’t receive them and we don’t store them. We keep a record of what you bought and what you paid.
What we collect automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs for each request: the IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the page you came from, and your browser’s user-agent string. If analytics are switched on (section 5), we also receive which pages you viewed, roughly where you are at a city or region level, and a cookie-based identifier for your browser.
Access you give us as a customer
If you subscribe, you may give us delegated access to your social accounts, website, hosting, domain, or analytics. We use that access only to do the work you bought.
What we don’t ask for
We don’t ask for government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, precise location, or any other sensitive category of personal information. Please don’t send them to us.
3How we use it
We use the information above to:
- answer your inquiry and give you a quote;
- set up, run, and support your subscription;
- take payment and keep billing records;
- send you messages about your account — approvals, schedules, renewal and price notices, and replies to what you asked;
- understand which pages people use, so we can make the website better;
- keep the site working and secure, and diagnose problems;
- meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information for money. If the Meta Pixel is switched on (section 5), information about your visit goes to Meta and can be used for advertising measurement and audiences; under California law that can count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Section 9 explains how to opt out.
6How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we have a reason to, and then we delete it.
- Inquiries and quotes — while we’re in contact with you about them, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back.
- Subscription and billing records — for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to keep them.
- Work we produced for you — while your subscription is active, and for a short period afterwards so we can hand it over.
- Server logs — for the short rolling window our hosting provider keeps them.
- Analytics data — for the retention period set in the analytics provider’s own settings.
You can ask us at any time to delete anything we aren’t required to keep. See section 8.
7How we protect it
This website is served only over HTTPS, so what you send us is encrypted in transit. Card numbers never reach us — the payment processor handles those. We keep the number of people with access to your records small, and we use each platform’s own delegated-access tools instead of holding your passwords wherever that’s possible.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security. If something happens that affects your information, we’ll tell you.
8Your rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, and who we’ve shared it with;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct anything that’s wrong;
- delete it;
- stop emailing or texting you.
How to make a request
Email support@thinkbigapple.com or text (888) 505-7447, tell us what you want, and use the email address or phone number you gave us so we can find your record. We may ask you a question or two to confirm it’s you.
We’ll reply within 45 days. It’s free, and asking won’t change your price or the service you get. If we can’t do what you asked — for example, records we have to keep for tax — we’ll tell you why. You can also ask an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask for written proof that you authorized them.
9California privacy rights
If you’re a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the rights in section 8, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, where it comes from, why we collect it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to. Sections 2, 3, and 4 of this policy are that disclosure.
You also have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We don’t sell personal information for money, and we don’t collect sensitive personal information as the CCPA defines it. If the Meta Pixel is switched on, what it sends to Meta may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, either block cookies as described in section 5, or email support@thinkbigapple.com with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line and we’ll apply it to your record.
We won’t discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
10Children
This website and our services are for businesses. They aren’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, email support@thinkbigapple.com and we’ll delete it.
11Other sites and platforms
This website and the posts we publish link out to other websites and to social platforms. Once you follow a link you’re on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. We don’t control what they collect, so it’s worth reading the policy of any platform you use.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you by email or text before it takes effect.
13Contact us
